I can’t say we did great in the lobster department, but hey.. 4 between us is better than none so we’ll take it and run. It was good to get back in the water after a long hiatus. Looking forward to weekends to come.

Hi Kayuba dive buddies! You probably already know this, but…I am retiring from Broward County and moving to St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands!!! I am hoping to spend some time with friends before I depart. I have two dives and a party planned before I leave…would you please join my partner Tom and I at one or more of them?

Friday, May 6, 8:00 AM: We are diving with UnderWater Explorers in Boynton Beach. The first dive will be to the wreck of the Castor, where we will enjoy the beauty and wonder of the Goliath Groupers who inhabit the wreck. The second dive will be a reef drift. If you have not dived Boynton before, it is a real treat. UnderWater Explorers is a six-pack with plenty of room. You must book with them directly, then let me know you’re joining us. Rack rate, no discounts but WELL WORTH IT…trust me, dive with them once and you will become a repeat customer.
Friday, May 6, 5-9 PM: Come to my retirement/farewell party at Briny Irish Pub in downtown Fort Lauderdale, under the Andrews Avenue Bridge on the North side of the New River. See attachment for details. Coming to bid me farewell is free; food and beverage is on you. I am expecting a big turnout for this from all of the groups I belong to, and hope to see you there!
Saturday, May 7, 8:30 AM: We are diving with Sea Experience at Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale. The first dive will be the Tenneco Towers, followed by a shallow reef drift. The Tenneco Towers host a great variety of marine life; it is a deep dive (as much as 110′) so experienced or advanced divers only, please. NOBODY and I mean NOBODY in Broward knows the good spots better than Capt. Bill Cole!!! You must book with them directly, tell them you are diving with Debby Diver to get $5 off the rack rate.

I am really going to miss my Kayuba friends, but…I’m moving to even better kayak diving than we have in FLL, if you can imagine that. I really hope to SEA you on a dive or the party, where Tom and I can tell you even more about the awesome kayak diving to the WALL on St. Croix!

Best FISHES,
Debby Diver
